Catholic Schools across Fairfield County welcome 12,000 students this fall as another year of quality, faith-based education begins for the county's largest private education system

The 39 Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Bridgeport in Fairfield County serve more than 12,000 students in grades pre-K through 12, making this the largest private school system in the county.

Each school is committed to educational excellence within the tradition of the Catholic faith. Implied in such a tradition is the threefold focus of physical, moral, and intellectual training of young men and women, so that they may serve each other in this world and be happy with God in the next.

To this end we sponsor athletic participation for physical development, vigorous academic pursuit for intellectual development, and service to fellow human beings for moral development, as a manifestation of our love of God.

To reinforce our mission we rely heavily on prayer at the beginning of and throughout the day, the celebration of the Eucharist daily and on special occasions, the performance of corporal and spiritual works of mercy within and outside our schools, and the practice of courtesy and respect among student and adults.

Enrollment is under way!
