What is Natural Family Planning?

Here are the facts:

  • It is a highly effective scientific method of planning your family.
  • It treats every woman and every cycle as unique.
  • It has the same 99% effectiveness rate as the pill, but without the potential harmful side effects.
  • It is 100% Natural.
  • It is inexpensive. The one-time fee for the kit and course is the only expense for the rest of the couple's fertile years.
  • It is for all women, including after childbirth and pre-menopause.
  • It is effective both for achieving and postponing pregnancy.

Married Couples Practicing NFP:

  • Discover a deep reverence of, and dignity for, their mutual fertility.
  • Increase their communication on the deepest level as they are called to become "Interpreters of God's Plan" (Gaudium et Spes) for their family.
  • Experience a 98% marriage success rate, as opposed to the 50% divorce rate nationwide.
  • Couples have a monthly honeymoon!

Natural Family Planning should always be learned from a trained instructor. For more information on methodology, instructors, and medical professionals, please use the following websites:
