PSALMS One hundred and fifty poetic prayers make up the biblical book called the Psalter. These Psalms combine resplendent words with profound emotions. Wherever we are on the journey of human life, we can find ourselves somewhere in this book. Anyone who has lived will find the Psalms speaking to him/her. They give voice to the whole range of human emotions, to all the cries of the human heart.  So often the Psalms seem to be tailor made for our own individual situation. Some of the psalms go back 3000 years – think of all who recited them.  The course will use the resources necessary to interpret the psalms properly.
