2014 SYNOD YOUTH CONSULTATION SESSION held on Jan. 10, 2015 from 2-4pm at Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford. All persons must have a ticket to enter at the door! All adult chaperones must be virtus trained and background checked and registered by January 1st. No adults will be accepted at the door who are not pre-cleared chaperones. This is a youth session, only adults who are chaperoning will have clearance. All youth and adults who have attended a previous session, do not need to fill out another liability form. NCYC is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. Keynote addresses, concurrent and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics, as well as liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park. Open to high school age young people and their chaperones. Most participants are Catholic. Many youth participants are leaders in their local parishes, schools and/or diocese, though many are just beginning to connect to their faith.
