HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER PASTA DINNER by The Knights of Columbus Cabrini Council 4096 on Nov. 1 at 6pm at St Andrews Parish, 395 Anton St., Bridgeport. AL’S ANGELS THANKSGIVING MEALS ASSEMBLY held Nov. 15 at 315 Seaview Ave., Bridgeport.  Want to help your community but not sure how?  Students need community service hours? This is your chance!  Volunteers needed for packing meal bins, loading trucks and delivering either in our trucks and/or in your own vehicle. Work shifts choices: 6am-9am, 9am-11am and 11am-2pm. “WE CARE” PERINATAL GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP meets at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, 2800 Main St., Bridgeport in the Ambulatory Infusion Center waiting area located on level 3 of the Elizabeth Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. The next meeting is Nov. 19; for those grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillborn, or newborn death. The group is facilitated by a maternity nurse and a chaplain who are certified grief counselors. Admission is free; no registration required.
