“WE CARE” PERINATAL GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP meets at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, 2800 Main St., Bridgeport in the Ambulatory Infusion Center waiting area located on level 3 of the Elizabeth Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. The next meeting is Dec. 17; for those grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillborn, or newborn death. The group is facilitated by a maternity nurse and a chaplain who are certified grief counselors. Admission is free; no registration required. WOUNDED WARRIORS PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES, FRANCE - May 12-18, 2015 - All applications and payments (if applicable) are due in full by January 31, 2015. The Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage for Military Personnel as part of the International Military Pilgrimage (PMI) is a joint project of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA, and the Knights of Columbus. Building on the commitment of both organizations to serve members of the military, the pilgrimage is designed to allow military personnel and their designated caregivers (if applicable) and/or companions to travel to the Marian shrine for a time of resting, praying, healing and connecting with other members of the military from across the world. NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERENCE "Here I am Lord" - with our own Bishop Caggiano! Nov. 19-21, 2015 in Indianapolis.  PARISHES - start planning now!  Click here for video from Bishop Caggiano.  NCYC is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. Keynote addresses, concurrent and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics, as well as liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park. Open to high school age young people and their chaperones. Most participants are Catholic. Many youth participants are leaders in their local parishes, schools and/or diocese, though many are just beginning to connect to their faith.
