new updated Parish Administration & Finance Manual (cover
shown at right) has been published!
The
promulgation date of this Manual will be February 15, 2008.
The
updated Manual is the result of an important collaboration of
clergy, parish lay leadership, and Diocesan staff and reflects the best
practices of our own parishes, the not-for-profit world, and guidance
from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The
Parish Administration & Finance Manual is part of the "Six
Key Elements," the Diocese of Bridgeport's ongoing commitment to
improving and enhancing financial controls at the parish and diocesan
